Aspire RF Tabletop Controller (RFTDCSG) is required as an installation tool for the programming and configuration of a Cooper Wiring Devices’ Z-Wave® network. The Tabletop Controller is used as a wireless controller to control and configure devices (dimmers, switches, receptacles, plug-in modules and accessories devices), scenes, events and system settings. One controller, known as the Primary is required per each Z-Wave network, but multiple controllers can be used in the network as Secondary controllers and as many secondary controllers can be used as desired within the network. Aspire RF offers users the following choices of Z-Wave compliant controllers: Handheld (RFHDCSG), Tabletop (RFTDCSG), USB (RFUSB or RFUSB-PRO) or SD Card (RFMCC).

1.All On, All Off, and Panic buttons provided for quick access.

2.Directional keypad with OK button for system navigation & provide Brighten/Dim feature when a dimmer is selected.

3.0 - 9 buttons for data entry and serve as shortcut keys to devices and scenes.

4.Allows up to eight favorite scenes to be selected, prioritized and listed on LCD for quick activation using the associated eight shortcut buttons.

5.Serves as Primary or Secondary Controller, allowing multiple controllers to be used within each network (one Primary allowed per network).

6.Replicate function allows user to duplicate information from one controller to another.

7.Away Mode function allows user to create "lived-in" automated lights in network while away (e.g. work day, vacation, etc.).

8.Primary Controller icon on LCD indicates whether controller is a Primary or Secondary controller.

9.Numeric keypad provides one button access for scene selection and convenient access to devices for direct control.

10.Intuitive user interface guides user through any chosen function on LCD.

11.Time and day provided on Main Menu for quick reference.

12.Device Status feature allows the user to determine each device’s current status (e.g. Switch = On) in the network.

13.Child Lockout feature offers user the option to change how a device is controlled, either manually or wirelessly.

14.Allows user to create custom "Panic" mode to alert neighbors or emergency vehicles, or to create quick viewing of outside or inside areas.

15.Rubber pads on bottom stabilize controller and prevent scratches on solid surfaces.

16.Can be surface mounted using two tear-drop holes on back of controller.

17.Back ledge support can be raised for angled viewing.

Performance Consideration

Apple IPad 2 16 GB Wi-Fi White Tablet is designed for Apple's 2nd generation of iPads. All in a thinner, lighter design. Due to the processor/memory speed and, memory size (Apple doubled the RAM in the iPad 2) , it can hope a very good speed. PowerVR SGX543MP2 graphic processor helps deliver faster images with minimum jerky movements.

App store has close to 70,000 iPad specific Apps, all of which will work on the iPad2. Also include too many professional applications between documents making, image editing and vector drawing.

A HD output over HDMI need a separate adapter. Perhaps, some sort of cons because some brands offer the function as built in. 

No Flash Support. Very painful for the people willing to continue with flash based websites and games.

How it Works
The system uses an IR receiver to take in the IR signals from an existing remote control and distribute those signals via IR emitters to A/V components. Programming
To compliment the simple design, the INSTEON LED Bulb does not have a set button for linking. When power is applied to the bulb (either by a lamp switch or wall switch), it will enter linking mode. To add a controller, simply place your controller into linking mode, screw-in the bulb (or turn the switch on the lamp) and they will link. The bulb default is 100% brightness with a 0.5 second ramp rate. To adjust these settings use management software such as HouseLinc.

Important Note
When in use, INSTEON LED Bulb emits a subtle buzzing noise that is barely noticeable. However, when several bulbs are installed in a single location, the buzzing may become more apparent.
